The Views from the Top are stunning, especially on a calm sunny day. I call it the Turquoise Coast. the red earth is quite striking on the upper part of the mountain.
The Aphrodite trail took me up to the 'Moutti Tis Sotiras' and the Adonis brought me back down. From the start the track was wide, dusty and rocky. It undulated till a turning on my left at 1.2KM that took me onto a goat track that wound up to the top of the mountain. The height of Moutti Tis Sotiras is 370M. The tracks all through this walk were uneven and rocky. Of course I was ascending a mountain so it was physically challenging.
The route down was on wide rocky tracks till the last KM then on a goat track which was narrow and also rocky.
