Dragonflies have been around for over 300 million years. I unique insect that cannot walk but is unparalleled when it comes to flight. The total life span of a dragonfly is over three years, however most of that time is spent as a nymph in the water, once it takes flight unfortunately it only lives for between 7-56 days.
